The next Rhythm and Poetry Party, at the London Library! The RAP Party is a nostalgic, no-clutter, no-fuss, night of hip-hop-inspired poems and favourite hip-hop songs. The format is simple: 10 writers share poems that engage any aspect of hip hop culture, and after each poet, the Dj plays two songs of the poet’s choosing. And after that, we dance.
This event is in celebration of The More Fiya anthology edited by Kayo Chingonyi, and the line up - featuring poets from the book - is wild again: Rachel Long, Raymond Antrobus, Louisa Adjoa Parker, Eric Ngalle Charles, Degna Stone, Samatar Elmi, Keisha Thompson, Nick Makoha, Kandace Siobhan Walker hosted by founder, host and curator, Inua Ellams
